- During parental leave, 80% of ordinary wages is paid (capped at ₩1,500,000; after the 2024 revision, ₩2,500,000 for the first three months). Additional benefits are available when both parents take leave.

- Parents who are Employment Insurance-covered employees and have a child aged 8 or younger
